Whether you’re a hobbyist or a professional, Rockingham Writers Centre welcomes all writers who wish to nurture their craft. The centre is run by an enthusiastic and energetic team committed to offering writers at all stages of their development access to resources, support and a diverse program of activities.

Rockingham Writers Centre is upstairs at the rear of Rockingham Arts Centre, 11 Kent Street, Rockingham.

RWC occupies rooms at the rear of Rockingham Arts Centre with access to wifi, a computer work station, projection facilities and a growing library of fiction from West Australian authors and books on writing craft. Larger rooms are also available for events such as guest speakers, seminars, book fairs and other activities.

The major focus of the RWC is to provide a venue and facilities for local writers to network and socialise.

Activities include regular groups for writers at different stages and genres, guest speakers, networking nights, workshops, book fairs, and other opportunities to promote and market the work of local authors.
