These regular groups form the backbone of our writing centre. They provide a space for discussion, collaboration, and shared learning.

BUSINESS OF WRITING 1st Thursday 9.30 am – 11.30 am 

for traditional and self-published authors to discuss all aspects of running your own business as a professional writer/author, including marketing, editing & publishing.

EMERGING AUTHORS 2nd Thursday 7.00 pm – 9.00 pm

for writers with basic to intermediate knowledge to discuss all aspects of the craft, including critiquing each other’s work and participating in monthly challenges.

ASPIRING AUTHORS 4th Thursday 10.00 am – 12.00 pm 

(please note the Aspiring Authors is held at the Rockingham Central Library, Dixon Rd)

for developing writers to discuss all aspects of the craft including plotting, character development, structure, editing and staying motivated with the aim of publication.

SHORT STORY WRITERS 1st and 3rd Wednesday 5.00 pm-6.30 pm

for writers who are looking for encouragement and feedback from sharing their short stories.

WRITE HERE WRITE NOW 1st Saturday 10.00am-12.00pm

for writers wishing to escape a distraction-filled home to write in quiet with like-minded authors.
